Due to the passing of Texas House Bill 255 Starting September 1, 2023 notary fees will be raised from $6 per signature per document to $10 per signature per document with additional signatures remaining at $1 per document.

What proof of identity are Texas Notaries allowed to accept?
1) Current State Issued identification:
Drivers License
Identification Cards
2) Current Federally Issued identification:
Passports
Military Issued Identification Cards
Unexpired DHS or USIC Documents
Green Cards
Permanent Resident Card
Temporary Resident Card
3) Other forms of accepted identification:
Foreign Passports
Foreign Visas
